Pollinator Party
was the beginning of our Garden Club on June 24th 2023 – tour of ten Village gardens.
There were 51 participants and 6 children.

Thank you to Margaret for hosting us in her garden, home of a magnificent maple tree. Mary Wheatley, President of the Master Gardeners, was the speaker.
Scooter, recovering from back surgery, joined us to learn about lasagna gardening. Get rid of that clay! Mary Wheatley, our expert, was amazing!

Thank you to Jessica for hosting this meeting where we introduced our Village arborist, Caroline Westfall and Shannon introduced us to KEYSTONE PLANTS. We shared some perennials from our gardens.

Shannon shares the value of native plants. Selections made are so important to the Village ecosystem. KEYSTONE PLANTS offer abundance and diversity. Consider Goldenrod, Asters, Joe Pye Weed and Hibiscus. Shannon will be growing these for us.

Introducing Caroline Westfall, Brownsboro Village Arborist, who shared her background and many services she will offer homeowners – consult, education of all types – pruning, tree tours and children’s education hour.
